State of Alaska rebate program
Up to $10,000 may be available in state rebates for improvements to your existing home. All of the specifics can be obtained at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC). The first step to see if you qualify for the state program is to contact an energy rater. They have the authority with the state to determine your eligibility, after conducting an inspection of your home. Although the state website has a complete list of energy raters, you might contact either of the two below, who live in the Homer area.
